Emma, hooked by Marian Pitkethly, Sudbury, Ontario, 2008.
North Bay, Ontario, is at the junction of Highways 11 and 17, three and a half hours north of Toronto and four hours northwest of Ottawa. It is the location of the Ontario Hooking Craft Guild’s 46th Annual Convention being held May 25–27, 2012. Hosted by the North Bay Rags to Riches and held on the Nipissing University campus, the theme of the Annual Convention is “All Abuzz About Bugs.” For more information about the convention, visit the OHCG website at www.ohcg.org.
But there will be more than hooking in North Bay. There are the two carousels.
There is something magical about a carousel. Each ride is a trip back to another era, to a mystical time when everything your heart desires is within your grasp. All you have to do is dream.
