Woolwrights Hook-In 2014
March 20, 2014
The Woolwrights Rug Hooking Guild of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, held their annual hook-in this past Saturday, and we were excited to attend. They put on a fantastic event! The hooking room is well-lit and spacious, the vendors top-notch, lunch delicious, door prizes abound, and the rug show is inspiring. Here are some photos from the event, courtesy of Karen Larsen, who was kind enough to send us photos since we had forgotten to bring a decent camera in our eager anticipation of hooking and shopping. Unfortunately, we did not record the names of all of the hookers and designers; please respect their copyrights as these are all individual works of art. Enjoy!
There was a special exhibit of rugs based on the paintings of Canadian artist Maud Lewis.
