The Hooked Carpetbag

Marita Friedman

As a master curtain maker turned rug hooker, I’ve had great fun coming up with ways to combine my couture skills with my new love of hooking. And what could be a better combination than rug hooking and carpetbags? In this article, I give detailed directions for constructing a fabulous hooked carpetbag just in time for the Fourth of July. Take your time, have fun and make something special for yourself …. But do be careful where you carry this bag.
