"I thought Entice was round, but finished, it was slightly oval. Maybe when Pearl McGown designed it, it got slightly off. Those things happened to the best of us! However, it has recently resurfaced as the center of Allure, 15' x 9 ½', just completed by Cheryl Orcutt. I should have known that Pearl was not 'slightly off!' Each year of my 17 years of teaching, I’ve attended Maryland Shores Rug School for R and R. I have been fortunate to have Nancy Blood’s expertise all these years! She continued to color plan a rug which which I would dye and start that week. My directions to Nancy were: I love red and drama. I learned new ways to deal with morning glories and loved the tulips so much that I’ve started Currier and Ives: Fruit and Flowers, another of 'the great unfinished.'"
