"This rug is from a photo of my mom and dad. It is done in 100% wool strips cut 1/8 inch wide. Sepia is fun to hook; it can show great detail if used correctly. I used eyelash yarn to make the fur cuffs and collar on Mom’s coat, and the wool used on Dad’s shirt was his shirt that Mom gave me after his death. The snow is penny-dyed wool, and the sky was dyed by Cathy at Red Barn Rugs. This is my first larger rug, and it was a joy to hook."
