"The Red Nose Brigade was one of my very early pieces and was designed from a composite of photos taken of different clowns in the various parades my older daughter’s high school band marched in. I’m not crazy about this hooking, but I learned some valuable lessons from it. First I learned that yellow is a difficult color to work with; second that I prefer working on smaller pieces; and third I learned to hook directionally while creating the balloon shapes."
