The Colorful World of Molly Dye

The rug titled Collections strikes you first by its colors: bold, modern, and, in the best way, unexpected. Next your eye takes in the variety of shapes all within one composition: multiple sizes of circles, squares, and triangles, the array and activity of which could easily be lost were it not for their balance within an organized, abstract composition. There are those lines to notice as well. They are stacked as underlines of underlines and they are masterfully hooked—super-fine—with dots punctuating both ends in a series. They suggest energy, perhaps reverberations coming from the shapes.
