Materials: #3- & #4-cut wool on monk's cloth
Designed and hooked by Karen Maddox, Kerrville, Texas, 2007

"I had recently visited the Shelburne Museum in Vermont and was very interested in its history, so I decided to hook it as a wonderful memory of my time there. Using my photographs and information from the museum, the biggest challenge was hooking the barn to make it look round. I hooked the values of the red barn horizontally, to follow the contour of the barn. The lettering required a large border to hold the historical information I wanted to hook in it."
