On Becoming a Hooker

How a workshop got me on my way

I know I am not alone. Legions of Baby Boomers like me are retiring in record numbers. For some of us, this is a time to reinvent oneself and decide how best to enjoy the newfound freedoms of living untethered from the constraints of the working world.

Since I have always enjoyed the textile arts (knitting, crocheting, weaving, sewing), it is no surprise to me that I decided to study the art of rug hooking.
