"Evan is our neighbor boy that calls me Grandma. So sweet. The inspiration for this rug was a photo in our neighborhood newspaper, and I got permission to hook it as a surprise to Even. It was a fun and fast project. The rug is 100% wool from my stash. The only problem I had was after finishing it, I felt the lamb was almost the same color of the background, so I darkened the lamb's back… and that worked. Evan will love this rug."
