"What intrigued me about this particular rug was its abstract design and all the silhouetted shapes. I like how some shapes touch just at the ends and others stand alone, creating positive and negative spaces that create a flowing effect.
This was the first rug where I experimented with wool dyeing techniques. I wanted to achieve a gradated color effect on some of my shapes, and I was quite pleased with the outcome."
