Tex

"He was my llama who guarded my Nubian goats and endured the attentions of my grandchildren. I thought Tex was a handsome animal of good character, and so I took many photographs of him. A friend drew the pattern for me from my photo. The chosen photograph became my valuable visual aid. After hooking Tex’s muzzle and his eyes, especially the eyes, I saw Tex. The rest of the hooking was just his hair (wool) and background. Tex has passed now. He was my favorite llama, and this reminder of him, Tex, now hangs in my home."
- Judith Rippstein, Celebration Hall of Fame 2018
