"I designed this piece from a personal photo taken when I was in Cinque Terre while hiking on the upper trail. The photo was taken looking way down at the rocks and water below. I wanted to portray the depth and obtain perspective.
I found hooking the rocks the most difficult in getting the definition, 3-D, and colour to be realistic. I enjoyed hooking the water with all of its colour changes, as well as the crashing waves and sea foam.
Looking back at it, I am surprised to have captured such drama in this small piece."
