As I am new to rug hooking, any flower which actually turned out to really look like a flower would be my favorite!

I have hooked a very small cabbage rose on a small Pearl McGown rug. I am presently hooking a Pearl McGown rug that has many fruits, Earth's Bounty. My next project will be a red tulip as that is what I have planted in the flower gardens around my home. I love the design and color of this tulip and would love to hook it.

I've only done penny flowers and sunflower proddy flowers. The proddy flowers were my favorite!

Beautiful tulips. Something I have never done is using gradient colors but I would like to someday.

I have never done a "rug hooking". What I have done is punch needle and really enjoy doing that and making my own patterns.

Ive never tried hooking a proper flower with gradient colours. Id love to try it!

I want to hook Sunflowers. When I look at their "faces" they burst with color and cheer me up. I want to mix and match colors to give them personalities of their own!

Sunflowers are my favorite. Easily recognizable and the shades of yellow, orange, rust, red and brown are awesome to use together, complimented of course by shades of green. Happiness in a flower!

I like to hook roses.

I plan to hook an Iris. I just bought a pattern and I am gathering the wool needed. My grandfather used to grow several varieties of Iris and I have always loved the Iris. They come in so many different colors each with it's own beauty. Each petal is so delicate yet they survive spring rains and storms. I hope I am able to capture their beauty in wool.

I have never hooked before but would absolutely love the chance to try a carnation, my favorite flower as my first one.

I don't have one yet, but it will probably be chicory.

Fall leaves and birch trees are my favourite so far. Not really a flower but Id love to learn and grow in the craft.

Daisys Tulips

I love all flowers so, if I had to chose it would be sunflowers, lavender, roses. tulips, primitive flowers, daisies, lilies....

I most enjoy daisies or cone flowers - BUT I find the challenge of hooking an iris to be the most rewarding.

Flowers are a great Rug Hooking subject and can be anything realistic, Art Deco, imaginary. One of my favorite rugs includes flowers from my garden that in the rug are all in bloom at the same time coneflowers, irises, Asiatic lilies, Annabelle hydrangeas and more.

I love the tulip and daisy.

I love tulips but haven't hooked any yet. My favorite flower that I've hooked so far is pansies. They're such a nice shape plus have so many shades including several purples (my favorite color!!)

I'm new to rug hooking I did a pillow over 30 years ago but my favorite would be a tulip. There my favorite flower.

Tulips are my top choice. The way each petal surrounds protecting another and with multiple colour options they are the perfect essence of love and life.

My favorite flower to hook is the one I am currently hooking. Right now its the pansy. I am learning about fine shading and would love to hook the tulip next.

It's a toss up. I love tulips in the spring and hydrangeas in the summer!
