"I attend a weekly guided meditation. The images often are quite vivid. One of the sessions featured a hot air balloon rising up into the stratosphere. From there, you could look down on the earth. The image stayed with me, so I designed this rug. I spent quite some time researching balloon colors, shapes, and designs before I drew the pattern. I love the play of light and shadow. The rug is especially meaningful to me, and it hangs in our living room to enjoy every day."
