"This rug makes me smile. I think the frog looks like “Mighty Frog” with his chest muscles, and I am convinced he got away from the heron. I also enjoyed but found it challenging to create the ripples. I dyed many different colors and values of wool for the ripples, but when I went to hook them, it was hard to keep all the lines in the pattern separate. I also found that I was not able to recreate all the lines the artist had painted. Once I realized I would not be able to do as many lines, I relaxed and enjoyed playing with the colors. Another favorite part of this rug are the bubbles. I used faceted beads, and they were all hand sewed during another car trip!"
