"One of my favorite rugs. I am intrigued by Northwest Coast Indian masks. I had seen a photo of the central mask many years ago and knew I wanted to incorporate it into a rug. I have a wall in my living room that needed to be decorated. So, I designed a rug to fit that space. It is a large wall, which suited the large central mask. I added the whale shapes into the background and smaller masks at each end."
